Double Precision Performance Table
« on: April 14, 2015, 10:07:20 AM »

Finding it hard to locate the double and single precision (FP64/FP32) numbers for many of the nVidia cards I wanted to post a table. It is unfortunate that the new Titan X will only have 1/32 the DP performance. To bad it is hard to find the Titan/Black/Z cards these days. (At a reasonable price of course.)

I didn't add the Tesla line or Quadro as I am most interested in the consumer price point. Please feel free to add new cards so we all can know which cards and chips are best.

Very nice collection of information!  I will note that TeraChem is not very sensitive to the relative DP performance, i.e. the Titan X runs very well in dynamic precision and is not throttled by the slow double precision.

Nice to hear! I was worried it would be a problem. Still want some Titan Zs though.

Note that Titan Zs are 3-slot cards though.  You might want to factor that if you plan to put it in a desktop PC.
